A gem of a hotel , very relaxing not like the other places west of you in S.D. Cal.
We have been staying here for 5 days now, and I couldn't have asked for a better stay! We arrived 2 hours before check in and were given the first available room. They told us about the free breakfast (which had so many options all week!) and the cookies!
One of the nicest hotels I've been too. The staff are always smiling and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. There isn't enough room to say everything nice about this place I highly recommend staying here. Only 30 minutes from San Diego Zoo traffic not to bad either on the way.
Great staff great accommodations loved staying here. Most places serve cold food for breakfast with an occasional waffle but not this place hot meals and yummy to boot. I will definitely recommend this place.
The only reason I'm not giving five stars is that our room didn't have a refrigerator. We were never asked if this was something we wanted, I had just assumed every room had a refrigerator. We could have asked after check in to switch rooms, but it wasn't really a huge deal. I would just suggest that they let you know if there is a fridge or not in your room. Overall we will definitely consider staying here again in our next adventure to San Diego.
You have a really great hotel in Alpine Calif. The staff when I checked -in was very helpful with my reservation and where I could go to get a good dinner as it was close 8p,m. when I arrived . The room was very clean and very comfortable . I would stay their in the future if I had any business or recreation needs in San Diego .
The grounds, pool, hot tub and lobby were exceptionally clean, the designated smoking area was so well maintained. We had a few things to print off and I was pleasantly surprised that they had a computer and printer to use free of charge for guests. That saved us big time for our plane tickets back home! House keeping was great, fresh sheets daily on great comfy beds. Plenty of tv channels.

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The Staff was friendly and helpful. We showed up just after breakfast service was supposed to be over and the Staff kept it open until we were finished eating. Location of the hotel is excellent being within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. We will return!
