Good food with a patio. We like to stop in after hiking with the dog. So the patio is a plus.
First, I want to thank Cheyenne for a beautiful experience. It was our first visit to the restaurant and Cheyenne made us feel at home as if we were locals. Well we are locals but not in Alpine. Lol.
The service excellent, coffee is to die for, my omelette was awesome, how did the cheese stay melted to the end? Amazing, my girlfriend is still talking about the Hamsteak breakfast. The coolest thing was the ball jar molded on a glass stem that was used to serve a mimosa. Definitely will tell many about Janet's Montana cafe and will return shortly. Without a doubt! Stopped here on our way back home from San Diego. Food was amazing! Home cooked quality and the portion size was huge! Definitely getting your money's worth! Staff is super quick and efficient! One of my new favorite places!! We will certainly be back:)
From the moment you enter the front door the attitude of the staff is Super friendly. I was greeted multiple times and made to feel welcome. The food and service exceeded my expectations. I can't say enough about the taste of the chicken in my Ceasar salad, it was warm and delicious. I wish I lived within driving distance from Janets Montana Cafe, I would definitely be sampling every bit of the menu. I took some cookies for the trip home, they are huge. If you're anywhere near Alpine, travelling or visiting, you should eat here.
Lovely cafe in Alpine. The cooks were nice enough to make me a special batch of French Toast as I'm allergic to cinnamon. It was delicious. My over easy eggs were perfect as was the bacon. My friend had an omelet that she really liked too. I will definitely be back.
Service can be hit or miss. Sometimes they are just overwhelmed. The place gets busy on the weekends. So dont let them forget about you, because they will. But when things settle down a little, they are usually very friendly and on top of things.
